In 1986, Bud Jones Taxidermy contracted with the South Carolina State Museum to make a life-sized American mastodon and giant beaver replica. Bud Jones Taxidermy is one of the few facilities that has mounted a lifesize African elephant (for the Anniston, Alabama Museum of Natural History). We have also mounted lifesize giraffes and rhinos. Not only do we mount North American and African animals, but fish, birds, and reptiles are also done. |
