Description/Mission:
Inspired by the creative genius of Frank Lloyd Wright and the Burton J. Westcott family, The Westcott House Foundation provides experiences that foster an appreciation for their contributions to design and innovation, inspire creativity and promote understanding of architectural principles and the design process. Of the eleven Frank Lloyd Wright houses in Ohio, The Westcott House remains the only Prairie style house. And, among Springfield's historical and architecturally-significant buildings, the Burton J. Westcott House stands out as its crown jewel.
Programs:
The Westcott House Foundation offers lectures during the spring, summer and fall seasons along with many other programs related to the arts and architecture.
Accessiblility:
The first floor is handicap accessible, but we do not have an elevator to the second floor.
