Exhibits highlight the geological formation of NY, and Native American culture on Long Island before European contact. We are part of the Nassau County Dept. of Parks, Recreation & Museums. Collections: Geology - Rocks & minerals Archaeology - Native American artifacts from Long Island, NY Programs: Education programs and tours for schools. Children's Summer Workshops. Gallery tours. Film series. Guided nature walks. Lapidary, jewelry, and sculpture classes. Special events throughout the year. Accessiblility: Exhibits and restrooms are accessible - all exhibits are on one level.
