REPORTS TO: Director of Collections and Exhibition FLSA: Exempt EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Regular/Full-time POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director of Collections and Exhibitions, the Manager of Exhibitions serves as a project manager for temporary special exhibitions, collection rotations, and traveling exhibitions within the context of the High’s robust exhibition program, overseeing and implementing all aspects of the planning process. All duties will be approached in a manner consistent with the High’s commitment to growth, inclusivity, collaboration and connectivity. WORK SCHEDULE:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Exhibition Planning: Prepares and implements exhibition timelines, guiding the planning process simultaneously for several exhibitions at various stages of development. (45%)
Communications: Establishes communications, generates positive relations, tracks information and follows through on arrangements with lenders, artists, participating venues, contractors, and relevant staff members (45%)
Departmental: Supervise departmental staff and the inter-departmental activities related to the Exhibitions Department. (10%)
